Pinecrest Lumber Dry Kiln#3 Design Build

TOLM Group, formerly known as Crow Group, served as the design-builder and construction manager for the Dry Kiln #3 project at Green Bay Packaging’s Pinecrest Lumber Division in Menifee, Arkansas. The project involved the development of specialized industrial infrastructure to support the facility’s lumber drying and processing operations. 

The project scope included extensive site preparation, concrete foundations, site utilities, and construction of supporting structures, including a burner room building and cooling shed. Additional components included a fuel storage silo, material unloading equipment, fuel preparation and transfer systems, and associated mechanical, electrical, ventilation, and fire protection infrastructure. 

Working within an active lumber manufacturing facility required careful construction planning, coordination of multiple trades, and management of equipment and material deliveries to minimize interference with ongoing mill operations. TOLM’s construction management responsibilities included coordinating subcontractors, overseeing project scheduling, and maintaining quality and safety requirements throughout construction. 

The Dry Kiln #3 project demonstrates TOLM’s capabilities in industrial construction, design-build project delivery, and multi-trade construction management. The infrastructure was designed to support Pinecrest Lumber’s production operations and provide the specialized systems necessary for reliable lumber drying and processing.
