APRIL 3, 2020 – TOLM Group President Brian Rohlman and HSE Director Brandon Baker recently announced that the company completed all work in 2019 without an OSHA recordable incident.

TOLM Group has 90 employees, and they completed more than 185,000 man hours of work in 2019.  Crews work in every setting imaginable, from high traffic commercial sites to hazardous industrial sites, and safety is the number one priority across the board.  Employees participate in daily Jobsite Safety Assessments to ensure that every employee returns home safely at the end of the day.

TOLM Group Health Safety and Environmental Director Brandon Baker said, “We continually strive to research and implement new techniques and best practices to ensure safety is at the forefront for every employee on every jobsite.  This is a huge milestone for our company as well as our employees because it reinforces our ability to work both efficiently and safely.  I’m proud of the work we are doing to keep our employees, subcontractors, and the general public safe”.

TOLM Group President Brian Rohlman added, “I am extremely proud of our employees and their commitment to working safely.  It’s important for our families to know that their loved ones are working in the safest possible environment.  It’s also important for our clients to know that we respect their spaces and are committed to completing their jobs with safety at the forefront, because when we work safely, the quality and service that our clients expect from us is a natural result.”

TOLM was also recognized in 2019 for their ongoing efforts in the development of a quality safety program with the Associated Builders and Contractors STEP (Safety Training Evaluation Process) Gold Award and an Associate General Contractors Excellence in Safety Award.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is the federal agency that ensures safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.  OSHA identifies construction as a high-hazard industry.  TOLM Group employees participate in ongoing safety training so that they are equipped to work safely and ensure that job sites meet rigorous OSHA safety standards.
